You have probably come to this page because you are looking for answers to some difficult questions.  If you are a parent or teacher of a child who has been diagnosed with ADHD, or you suspect has the disorder, you might be feeling quite frustrated right now.  Hopefully the resources on this page will help you find some answers.  There is so much information on the internet regarding ADHD and related disorders  that it can be mind boggling.  My goal is to assemble the best websites that I have used as an Early Childhood Educator, parent, and facilitator of groups for parents of children with ADHD.
This is one of my best finds on the internet!  There is a great explanation of how the ADHD brain works.  Included are strategies, medication information, and info for teachers.

CHADD stands for Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder.  This resource provides a ton of information about the disorder.  Membership in this group entitles you to some helpful printed material.  You can find local chapters at the website.  Here is the group for Macomb County residents:
Here is a good description of Oppositional Defiant Disorder.  Included are some strategies and treatment options.
This is an absolutely amazing website.  It is all here.  It contains Michigan and US resources.
